Since January 2022, we’ve added six new title and closing offices located across Alabama, Florida, and Tennessee. Marcus Hunt, Owner and Partner at South Oak Title and Closing says, “This has been a busy year for us. South Oak Auburn

The Auburn location of South Oak Title and Closing opened in January and serves Auburn, Opelika, and Lee County. South Oak in Auburn is located just a few miles from Auburn University. We’re thrilled to be operating in this growing area.

When most people think about Auburn, they immediately think about the university, but Auburn is also great for families. We’re also able to help clients with closings for investment properties, gameday condos, or even their homes and land on nearby Lake Martin. Our Auburn office is also proud to be a member of the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.

South Oak Destin

South Oak Title and Closing in Destin is our newest office in Florida. With five offices along the panhandle (and one more in Gulf Shores), there’s a South Oak office close by for anyone looking to close on the Emerald Coast. Located in the Destin Commons, our brand new office is the perfect place to close on the beach.

Title Insurance Co. in East Tennessee

We’re thrilled to offer South Oak’s signature service at four Title Insurance Co. locations in East Tennessee. Our acquisition of Title Insurance Co. was completed early this summer and represents our first offices in Tennessee. Title Insurance Co. has been a leader in the Tennessee title industry for nearly 45 years and is known for its industry expertise and commitment to personalized service, making it the perfect fit for our family of brands.

Hunt says, “We had a personal connection to the owner of Title Insurance Co. through an existing relationship here in Birmingham. The owner was ready to retire, and through the acquisition process, we’ve been able to get to know the family better. This has really felt like a special process that’s been more than just a business deal.”

Because Title Insurance Co. has built such an outstanding business with a loyal staff and client base, we wanted to protect their existing brand. The four Title Insurance Co. locations are retaining their name, personnel, and commitment to their communities while joining the South Oak family of brands.

“Our offices in Tennessee are still close enough for us to be able to serve them well. And it’s truly an asset to our clients to have multiple closing locations they can rely on throughout the Southeast,” Hunt explains.

Our four Title Insurance Co. offices are located in Chattanooga, Athens, Dayton, and Cleveland in Tennessee.

Future Growth at South Oak

As we continue to grow our reach at South Oak, we’re always focused on providing outstanding customer service to our clients. Hunt says, “With a network of offices throughout the southeast, our clients are able to get consistent, reliable service with a team they already know, whether they’re in Chattanooga or Panama City Beach or somewhere in between.”

Our growing network provides more opportunities for relationships and an increased ability to serve the communities in which we operate. Hunt continues, “As the market begins to slow down, it’s the perfect time to focus on our growth as an organization. We’re really prioritizing deeper relationships within our existing communities as well as creating more opportunities by expanding our network.”

As to future growth, Hunt says that South Oak is always looking for opportunities to grow in Alabama and in other markets across the Southeast. “We’re currently looking at opportunities for growth in Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia.”
